The Salt Lake City Tribune, June 30, 1975:

TODAY'S VALENTINE

As a man who has lived in about 150 different dwellings during his lifetime, I admire people who have a permancy.

That's why Today's Valentine goes to Gilbert E. Bridge, 842 Simond Ave., Salt Lake City.

Mr. Bridge is 71 years old, and he lives in the same house in which he was born.

In fact, he's lived in the same house all of his life, except for about six months when he was first married.

But he and his wife, Sarah, returned to the house... and they've lived there for more than seven decades, raising four daughters...

As I say, in this moving, nervous world when people flit from one place to another... it's nice to know a man like Gilbert Bridge who knows how to stay put.

And a Valentine to you, sir.
