MT. PLEASANT--Mrs. Frances Bacino, 80, Mt. Pleasant, died in Mercy Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Sunday, Feb. 5.
She was born Feb. 22, 1903, in Burgio, Italy, to Natale and Maria F. Antonio Anzelmo. She married the late Rosario (Roy) Bacino March 1, 1927 in New York City.
Mrs. Bacino was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, and the Daughters of Isabella.
Surviving: Two sons, Dr. Vincent R., El Cajon, Calif., and Joseph N. (Nick), St. Louis; one daughter, Sara Pfeiffer, Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Alphonsus Church, the Rev. Thomas Spiegel and Dr. John P. Woods; St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Rosary: Weir Funeral Home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. A memorial has been established for Hallmar Nursing Center, Cedar Rapids.
