Nelda Alene Minert, 89, of New Albany, Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, at Christ Gospel Church, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at Clark Memorial Hospital.She was born on April 14, 1922, to John and Alene Dillon in Bostwich, Neb. She was a life long missionary for Christ Gospel Church. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Wilson and her husband, Larry, of Charlestown; son, John D. Minert and his wife, Tammy, of Cadiz, Ky.; brother, Orin Dillon, of Edgan, Neb.; grandchildren, Jonathan Wilson and his wife, Cali, of Charlestown, Julia Sisk and her husband, Damon, of Charlestown, Daniel Minert and his wife, Patricia, of Cave City, Ky., and Aaron Minert and his wife, Misty, of Sellersburg; and great-granddaughters, Natalia and Autumn. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, and after 10 a.m. Friday at the church. Expressions can be made to the Gideon's International.
