Jane married John McClarran; and they became the parents of two sons, Thomas Gallagher and John Covode, and two daughters, Mary and Matilda (Tillie).
Jane helped her husband as an innkeeper along the William Penn highway, about eight miles east of Greensburg.
At the age of 55, Jane died on February 5, 1874, in Hannastown.
She was survived by her husband and three children.
