Brenda Turner, 51, of Jackson, died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 1998, at her home.
She was born Nov. 11, 1946, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Ben and Sybil Carmack Kimbel. She and Jim Turner were married Feb. 5, 1987.
Survivors include her husband, a son, Dan Wilkens of Jackson; a daughter, Julie Kinder of Jackson; three stepsons, David Turner of Jackson, Dennis Turner of Peoria, Ill., Douglas Turner of Marion, Ill.; and stepdaughter, Karen King of Jackson.
Also surviving are six sisters, Betty Wilkenson, Billie Farrow, Joanne Parker, Shirley McClain, Hulda Flanagin and Jeanette Farrow, all of Jackson; five brothers, Benjamin "Sonny", Ray, James, Bobby and Gene Kimbel, all of Jackson; two granddaughters; and four stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Burial was in McLain's Chapel Cemetery.
