FANCY FARM, Ky. — Bernard "Benny" Wilson, 61, of Fancy Farm, Graves County, KY., died at 1:25 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2010, at his home.

Mr. Wilson was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. He was a retired farmer, a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus No. 1418 and the reigning champion of the EverRita Bass Tournament.

Surviving are his wife, Wanda Wilson; one son, Everett Wilson of Mayfield; three daughters, Cindy Thomas of Fancy Farm, Julie Armstrong of Cunningham and Natalie Shaw of Louisville; six sisters, Anna Willene Thomas of Fancy Farm, Agnes Carolyn Shockley of Paducah, Frances Laverne Elliott of St. Charles, JoAnn Toon of Cunningham, Rose Marie Lanham of Louisville and Judy Kilcoyne of Clarksville, Tenn.; six brothers; Thomas Larry Wilson of Milburn and Gerald Glen Wilson, Michael Freddy Wilson, Albert Eugene Wilson, Stephen Thomas Wilson, all of Fancy Farm, and David Wilson of Union City, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Everette and Anna Rity Courtney Wilson; one brother; and one sister.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm with the Rev. Darrell Venters officiating. Burial will be at St. Jerome Cemetery.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday, May 17, 2010, at the church with prayers at 7. The Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
