COURIER-JOURNAL OBITUARY – 09/07/2011
CRONIN - Barbara M., 80, of Louisville, passed away Monday, September 5, 2011 at her residence. She was the former Barbara Clements, retired from the Jefferson County School Board and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert & Eleanor Clements. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Jimmie Cronin; children, Barb Khorshidian (Ab), Jim Cronin (Joanie), Rob Cronin (Anita), Sharon Smith (Larry) and Jeff Cronin (Angie); sisters, Penny Lally and Catherine Webb; brothers, Sam, Paul & Jim Clements as well as 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3926 Poplar Level Road, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the American Heart Association , PO Box 15210, Chicago, IL 60693-5120.
