Dale C. Chambers, formerly of Memphis, airman stationed at Forbes Air Force Base near Topeka, KS, who was found fatally shot in his trailer home Wednesday night. Burial in Memory Hill Gardens.

Mr. Chambers, who was 22, died at a Topeka hospital about two hours after he was found wounded on the floor of his trailer.

Police said they received a call from him saying he was planning to shoot himself. Officers found suicide notes of a personal nature in the trailer.

He leaves his wife and two sons, William Dale Chambers and Gregory Keith Chambers, all of Dayton, OH and his grandparents, Mr, and Mrs. T.P. Chambers in Memphis.
