MRS. AZUBA L. SMITH SUCCUMBS IN WILSON
WILSON, Feb. 6- Mrs. Azuba L. Smith, 88, one of the oldest residents of this village, died Sunday at 5p.m. in the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. Sumner Stacy.

Mrs. Smith was the widow of William H. Smith, a veteran of the Civil war who died in 1899. She was born in Hector, N.Y., July 20, 1844, coming to Wilson with her parents in 1848. After residing her until 1865, she moved to Richfield, Mich., where she lived until 1900. In the year she moved back to Wilson and had lived here continuously since.

She was a member of Wilson Baptist church and was prominent in auxiliary organizations of the G.A.R. She leaves two sons William S. Smith, Flint, Mich., and Burt Smith, Lockport; a daughter, Mrs. Stacy; 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Services will be held in the Stacy home Wednesday at 2p.m., with the Rev. C.W. Vandenburgh of the Wilson Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in Richfield cemetery, Flint, Mich.
