His brother, Nichols CLAUSE, Jr., is buried in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery in Groves, Jefferson County, TX. His brother, Eugene Paul Clause is buried in Bellevue Cemetery in Opelousas, Saint Landry Parish, Louisiana.

STANLEY JOSEPH CLAUSE
Carencro - Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 1995 in St. Peters Catholic Church in Carencro for Stanley Joseph CLAUSE of Carencro, 82, who died at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, 1995 at his residence in Carencro.
Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. The Rev. Greg CORMIER, Pastor of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, will officiate.
Mr. CLAUSE was a native and resident of Carencro, past member of the Holy Name Society, Member of the Lafayette Parish Cattlemen's Association, Louisiana Cattleman's Association, Farm Bureau and served on the board of A.S.C.S.
Survivors include: his wife, Gertie Meche CLAUSE of Carencro; two sons, both of Carencro; one daughter of Carencro; two brothers, Alex CLAUSE of Carencro and Eugene CLAUSE of Opelousas; one sister, Aline STOKES of Elmer; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas CLAUSE and the former Cecile WEBB; five brothers, Weston, Charles, Robert, Nick and Lewellyn CLAUSE and by two sisters, Evelina KILCHRIST and Elvidge CLAUSE.
Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro is in charge of arrangements.
