Charles Augustus Beyea a civil war veteran died of stomach touble at the home of his son, Orrin Beyea, three and one -half miles west of this city, at 7:15 am, today. Mr. Beyea was born in Michigan November 11. 1834. Surviving him are sons, Orrin Beyea, Charles Beyea, who is at some unknown place in Arkansas, and Frederick Beyea, who is in Texas, his whereabout not being known. A daughter, Mrs. Byron Kellogg is also a resident of Texas.
