1976 Jul 26 Mon p.8A Mrs. Joyce Parlier Adair, 48, of 412 S. Oak St. died Sunday in a Charlotte hospital. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Newman Adair; three sons, Johnny Lee, Thomas Edward and James Keith Adair, all of Gastonia; one brother, Roland Parlier of Gastonia; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Spencer of Columbia, S.C.; her stepfather, John Tiller of Gastonia; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church by the Rev. W. H. Calvert and the Rev. Rick McGary. Burial will be in Armstrong Memorial Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church 30 minutes prior to the services. The family will receive friends at McLean and Son Funeral Home tonight from 7-9.
