Gendron, Joan A. COHOES Joan A. Gendron, 76, died September 1, 2011. Born in Cohoes, she had lived there most of her life and was daughter of the late Edward J. and Ella Ashley Gendron. She was wife of the late Gerald C. Gendron Sr. Joan had been employed at Wertime & Robinson Law Firm and later at Rose & Kiernan for many years. Her greatest joy in life was being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include her loving children, Laurie (Rick) Barry, Kirk ( Stephanie ) Gendron, Gerald (Dawn) Gendron and Aaron (Marianne) Gendron. Sister of the late Mary Mons and Edward Gendron. Cherished grandmother of Robert MacGregor, Christine and Michael Livsey, Kirk Gendron, Sarah Lennox, Wayne, Fonda, Samuel, Thomas, Charlie, and Ella Gendron and the late Leah MacGregor. Also survived by many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private there are no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a committal service on Tuesday, September 6, at 10 a.m. in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
