He was born November 5, 1973 in Burke, South Dakota to Michael Lawrence Daniel Sletten and Marilyn Ann (Lubbers) Sletten.
He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandfather, Francis Lubbers, paternal grandparents, Mike Alfred and Lucille (Barnes) Sletten.
Surviving are: his mother, Marilyn Sletten of Ironton; one sister, Becky, Mrs. Jim Barton of Ironton; one brother, Michael and wife, Tiffany of Leadington; maternal grandmother, Dorothy H. Baker of Ironton; many other relatives and a host of friends.
He was a 1992 graduate of Arcadia Valley High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ironton.
