Mrs Mela Weaver, 1207 South Main Street, Elkhart, Ind, died at 4:30 am Sunday in the South Bend Osteopathic Hospital. She was born two miles north of Wakarusa Oct 5, 1881.

Her first husband, Francis Stutzman died in 1916 and her second husband, David Weaver died in 1918.

Surviving are a son, Homer Stutzman, of Warsaw, Ind; a brother, Walter Holderbaum, of Los Angeles, Calif, and a sister, Mrs Laura Large, of Niles, Mich.

Friends may call in the Lienhart Funeral Home in Wakarusa after 7 pm today.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Lienhart funeral home for Mrs Mela Weaver, widow of the late David Weaver.

Mrs Weaver, 80 who lived at 1207 South Main street, Elkhart, died Sunday morning at the Osteopathic hospital in South Bend after an illness of several days.

She was born near Wakarusa Oct 5, 1871, the daughter of Sol and Katherine Holderbaum.

After the death of her first husband, Francis Stutzman, she married David Weaver, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs Weaver was a member of the Wakarusa Church of the Brethren.

Surviving are a son, Homer Stutzman, of Warsaw, a brother, Walter Holderbaum, of Los Angeles, Calif, a sister, Mrs Laurel Large of Niles, Mich, and five grandchildren.
