Sandra Hamilton Proctor of Granbury, a retired teacher, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001 in Granbury. She was 66.
Mrs. Proctor was born April 6, 1934 in Coleman. She married Billie Proctor July 4, 1951 in Coleman. She received a bachelor's degree from North Texas State University and a master's degree from Tarleton State University. She taught school at Burleson ISD for 21 years and retired from there. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Thorp Spring, where she was treasurer for the past six years. She was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Billie Proctor of Granbury; two daughters, Patricia Bowen and Pamela Smith, both of Granbury; two sons, Rev. Michael Proctor of Baytown, and Mitchell Proctor of Burleson; five brothers, Guy Hamilton of Corpus Christi, Bill Hamilton of San Angelo, James Hamilton of Lincoln, Neb., W.R. Hamilton of Waco, and Lee Hamilton of Coleman; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.
Services were Friday, Feb. 9, 2001 in Wiley Funeral Home. Burial was in Holly Hills Memorial Park in Granbury. Wiley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
