Mary Elsie Skinner Luker Austin, 69, of the 100 block of South McMorrine Street in Elizabeth City, died at her residence recently [June 25, 1999].
Memorial services will be held in the Portsmouth Assembly of God Church in Portsmouth, Va. on Thursday at 2 p.m. Twiford's Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Austin was the widow of Chester L. Austin, Jr. and the daughter of the late Edward and Annie Sue Skinner.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn William of Vincennes, Indiana; three sons: William Luker of Independence, Mo., Chester L. Austin, III of Gates and Andrew Austin of Chesapeake, Va.; a brother, Ray Skinner of Virginia Beach; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
