Steven G. Wright, 66, Monrovia, died peacefully at home on September 4, 2011. Mr. Wright was born March 19, 1945, in Indianapolis, to the late Forrest and Doris (Faucett) Wright.

He graduated from Warren Central High School and proudly served in the United States Army. He worked in maintenance at Methodist and Community Hospitals. Mr. Wright also formerly owned the Frontier Lounge in Belleville. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren grow and prosper.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn (Atkins) Wright; brothers, Ross, and Scott Wright.

Survivors include his daughters, Heather Stokes (Dave Berry) of Poland and Lisa Stagner (Sherman) of Martinsville; sister, Sally Brunes of Indianapolis; brother, Stanley Wright; grandchildren, Steven and Katelyn Stagner; Kristen Stokes.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hall.
