BAXTER -- Funeral services for Oscar Dillard Rodgers, 63, of Rt. 1, Baxter, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Burgess
officiating. Burial will be in the Rodgers Family Cemetery.
Mr. Rodgers was dead on arrival at Cookeville General
Hospital on Monday (Jan. 21 1985).
A native of Putnam County, he was the son of the late John and Callie Philpot Rodgers. Mr. Rodgers was a farmer.
His family includes his wife, Beulah Hargis Rodgers; four
sons, Gene and Oliver Lee Rodgers, both of Bloomington Spr-
Ings, and Mack and Danny Rodgers, both of Baxter; a
daughter, Brenda Sue Loftis of Bloomington Springs; two
brothers, Clifford Rodgers of Cookeville and Edward Rodgers
of Baxter; three sisters, Virginia Chaffin, Dorene Lafever and Mable Scarlett, all of Baxter; and eight grandchildren.
