She was a possible sister of Abigail Pisley, who married his brother Joseph R. Ellis.
On Oct. 1, 1854, Rosina was married to Almeron F. Ellis in the town of Bolton, Vermont. Almeron was born in 1836, in Johnson, Lamoille Co., Vermont, son of Dalathe H. Ellis, born in Lunenburg, Essex Co., Vermont, and Percila Ingles, born in Aworth, New Hampshire. He died March 11, 1898, at Ferndale, Whatcom Co., Wash. His place of burial is unknown. Their children, all born in Wis., were:
