Jeffrey O'Neil Kirkpatrick, 47, of Paducah, Ky., died Thursday, September 1, 2011, following a boating accident on his beloved Tennessee River. He was born August 31, 1964, in Sikeston, Mo., the son of Richard and Faye Bryant Kirkpatrick. Jeff was an active member of Salt & Light Community Church and has been employed at Computer Services Inc. as a telecommunication manager for the last twenty-five years. He is survived by his parents of Charleston, Mo.; his son, Nicholas R. Kirkpatrick of Paducah, Ky.; one brother, Richie Kirkpatrick of Fruitland, Mo.; two sisters, Claudia Rolwing of Terrell, Texas, and Joy Cochran of Morehouse, Mo. A memorial service will be held at Salt & Light Community Church in Paducah, Ky., on Wednesday, September 7th, at 6 p.m. Private burial will be in Maynard Cemetery near Diehlstadt, Mo. Arrangements by Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Benton, Mo. The Paducah Sun 5 Sept 2011.
