Mrs. Malissa Risenhoover died Wed evening about 5 o'clock, March 10, 1909 after a lingering illness of about a year. She married Jasper Risenhoover Jr. some 8 or 10 years ago. To this union there were born seven children, 3 of whom preceded the mother to the glory land, 4 are living and were at the bedside of the mother when she stepped aboard the "old ship of Zion" which landed her safe on the other shore. Her remains will be laid to rest in the Cave Springs Cemetery this afternoon.
