Steve was born prematurely to Luther "Billy" and Mary Elizabeth Sockwell Quinn on Oct. 16, 1958. He overcame the odds and survived the premature birth and resulting respiratory challenges during infancy. On more than one occasion, his parents were warned that he might not survive. Still, survive he did and enjoyed a great childhood as he grew up on our family farm. He eventually found a soul-mate in his wife, Linda, who loves him unconditionally. Steve was a very loving son, brother, uncle, husband, and father. He was almost always smiling and cheerful. Nothing made him smile more than his grandchildren and his dog, Prissy! He also just loved to spin tall tales! Steve had a tremendous amount of friends from all walks of life as was demonstrated by the huge number who stood in long lines for over an hour during the vistation.

He is survived by his parents, his wife, Linda, son, Josh, step-son, Barry Britton, daughter, Stacy Chaffin; grandchildren, Allie & Matthew Chaffin; sister, Wanda Quinn Bradford; brother, Randy Quinn; nieces, Donna Hines Katina Petree, Shae Mansell, Christy Hester; and 11 great-nieces & nephews.

Steve LOVED and WAS LOVED by his family and had a multitude of friends
from coast to coast.
