Services for Ruth Watkins Lee, 80, of 2296 Cardwell Lane, will e conducted 1 p.m. Monday at Rogers Funeral Home by Rev. Mike Watts with burial in Frankfort Cemetery. She died 6:40 p.m. Thursday after an illness. Born Feb 15, 1913, in Frankfort, she was a teacher at Stewart Home School. and an associate of Lee Masonry. She was a member of the Farmdale Baptist Church, active in the WU and taught Sunday School for years. Surviving are five sons, David R. Lee, John Bruce Lee and W. Allen Lee, all of Frankfort; Carol T. Lee, Bowling Green and Barry S. Lee, Hopkinsville; son sister, Julia W. Watts, Moreland and one step-sister, Ida Mae Grimm, Cincinnati and nine grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Willis and Mary Johnson Watkins and the widow of Ray Lee. Bearers will be Todd Green, Roy Peach, Blake Mitchell, Charles Franklin, Kirtley Green, Buck Jewel and Norman Kirk. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the Farmdale Baptist Church Building Fund, 561- US 127 south; Hospice of the Bluegrass, Franklin County, 124 West Todd or the Frankfort YMCA, Capital Plaza. Friends may call at the funeral home noon to 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today.
