Harold B. Henson, 82, of Yates Center died Sunday, June 16, 1996, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita
He was born Jan. 3, 1914, in Neosho County to Calvin and Jessie Peterson Henson.
He had been employed at lumber yards in Yates Center and Chanute before his retirement. He also had managed Prairie Villa Senior Housing in Yates Center for several years.
Henson was a member of the United Methodist Church in Yates Center.
On Sept. 15, 1935, he married Inez Bedigrew at Fredonia. She survives, as do daughters Roberta Myers, Joplin, MO, Phyllis McCloskey, Newton, and Paula McAlister, Pittsburg, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center. Burial will be in Toronto Cemetery.
