He served in Army National Guard in Hagerstown, Maryland. He was employed with Holsom Bread Company. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Clear Spring, MD. He was a member of the Antietam Station Model Railroad Club.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Janet Albright; one son, two sisters, and four brothers,
