His second marriage was to Eve Schmidt Good and they are known to have had a son they named Jacob Good Wenger.
The cemetery records for his parents say he later married a third time to Anna Sarah Landis.
All of these folks are likely buried in the Groffdale Mennonite Brick Church Cemetery. However, records found todate only state that Michael G Wenger himself; along with many of his siblings are resting in the same cemetery as his parents.
Michael Graybill Wenger and Maria Groff Wenger, his 1st wife, had the following children:
- Barbara Wenger b. 1764
- Joseph Wenger b. 1766 m. Maria Horst b. 1767 and her parents were Joseph Horst, Jr. and Mary Groff
2nd wife: Eve Good one child: Jacob Wenger b. 1782 m. Susanna Weaver Wenger... Jacob and Susanna had 1 child: Joseph Wenger b. 1807 m. Esther Buckwalter 1 child: Elam B. Wenger b. 1837 m. Barbara Elizabeth Stover/Stauffer
3rd wife: (Per research by Romaine Stauffer)
An error on his tombstone suggests incorrectly that his 3rd wife: Anna Sarah Landis who married 2nd Husband: Christian Oberholtzer... 1 son: John Oberholtzer b. 1797 m. Catherine Nissley... 3 sons: Christian, John and Samuel.
However; Michael's third wife was Anna Wanner, not Landis. YY-201 shows Michael's widow, Ann, married Christian Overholser by 1796. She was Anna Wanner, daughter of John Wanner of Lampeter Twp. See the will of John Wanner-G-195 and deed E3-151.
Deed YY-195 names these children of Michael: Joseph (eldest son--of first wife), Jacob, Christian, Esther and Martha (presumably birth order by gender) and widow Ann. All the children except Joseph were under 21.
