LYNN EDWARD "ROG" ROGERS

LYNN EDWARD "ROG" Our loving Husband, Dad, Umpa, Great-Umpa, Brother, Retired Veteran serving in Korea and Vietnam, and longtime San Diego County Business Owner, born July 27, 1936, returned to our Loving Father, peacefully, on August 28, 2011.

"Rog", "Chief", "Mr. Fix-It" was passionate about his time served abroad for his country, working, his extended family at J&J and fishing at Barrett Lake. He brought humor and laughter into many lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lincoln and Eleanor, brother Alan, sister Leona, daughter Kelley and son Ernie. He paves the way for his loving wife of 48 years, Perry, daughter Dana, son Ron and daughter-in-law Suzie, grandchildren Jason, Kyle and Breanna, great-grandson John, sister Arla, brother Richard and wife Sandy and many, many loving friends.

Military Honors Ceremony and Services will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 1:45 p.m. at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Hwy 209, South Cabrillo Memorial, San Diego, CA 92107.

In lieu of memorial flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Wounded Warrior Project, in memory of Lynn Edward Rogers, 4899 Belfort Rd., Ste. 300, Jacksonville, FL, 32256, or online at www.WoundedWarrior Project.org. "A wonderful man among men, he will be truly missed by many."
