MABEL DRAPER MARSHAL
Services for Mabel Draper Marshal, 92, of 811 33 St. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Westover Funeral Home, with burial in Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Marshal died of a heart ailment Wednesday at home.
She was born in Winthrop and lived in Des Moines more than 60 years. She was a homemaker and had been a member of First Church of the Open Bible, Women’s World Fellowship and World War I Widows.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ellen Neal of Des Moines; a sister, Lucille Landis of Van Meter; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
