HORTON, DENNIS JEROME Funeral service for Dennis J. Horton, age 44, of Columbiana, will be at 1 PM, Monday, April 30, 2007, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with Bro. Wayne Horton officiating. Burial will follow at Summer Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Horton, who passed away on Friday, April 27, 2007, was born on October 3, 1962 in Shelby County, Alabama. Mr. Horton worked at Elastic Corp. of America since 1980. He was the department manager of covered rubber. Mr. Horton accepted Christ a year ago, but health problems prevented him from church membership. He was an active member of his community.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Allie Faye and Billy Joe Horton.
Mr. Horton is survived by his wife, Laura Pool Horton; daughter, Holly (Michael) Horton Connell; son, Preston Jerome Horton (fiancé Nicole Portera); daughter, Alisha Danielle Horton; granddaughter, Reagan McKenzie Connell; brothers, Billy Joe Horton, Jr., Frankie Horton and Michael Horton; father- and mother-in-law, Wayne and Jean Gould.
