The Atlanta Constitution - H.A. "MIKE" FISCHER TO BE BURIED TODAY

Funeral services for Hugo A. "Mike" Fischer, 54, prominent Atlanta Jeweler, who died Sunday morning at his residence, 964 Howell Place, S. W., will be held this morning at 10 o'clock from the chapel of Sam R. Greenberg & Company. The Rev. W. E. Huff and interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. Members of the Piedmont Masonic Lodge will have charge of the services at the graveside.

Mr. Fischer was a native of Atlanta and had lived practically all of his of his life in the cityh. He was a graduate of the University of Virginia and had been in the jewelry business for about thirty-five years. He was active in fraternal circles of the city and for twenty-three years was secretary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a member of the Atlanta Lodge of Elks #78, BPOE and Piedmont Lodge #447, F & AM.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Regis Erskine and Miss Theresa Fischer, son, H. A. Fischer, Jr., two brothers, Max Fischer of Washington, C. C. and Harry Fischer of Toronto, Canada and a sister, Miss Lena Fischer of Salem, Virginia.
