Mrs. Allen was born in Griffin, GA on December 9, 1948 to the late Vernon Ethridge Goen and the late Nellie Hattaway Martin. She was preceded in death by husband, Forrest Adair Allen. Mrs. Allen retired from J.C. Penney. She attended Oak Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by a stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, three grandchildren, a sister and brother-in-law, a halfsister, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service conducted on August 14 in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, Griffin, with Reverend Vernon Ritchie and Reverend John Nance officiating. Interment in Westwood Gardens.
