Ella Klahn, 82, of Durant, died Thursday, February 8, 1968, at Mercy Hospital in Davenport after a long illness.

Visitation will be after Noon on Friday, February 9, at Frick Funeral Home in Durant.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 10, at Frick Funeral Home in Durant. Burial will be in the Durant Cemetery, Durant, Iowa.

Ella Klahn was born August 28, 1885, in Cedar County, Iowa, the daughter of Jochim and Agnes (Hoepner) Klahn. She never married and lived her entire life in the Durant area.

Surviving are one sister, Clara (Charles) Harmsen of Tipton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, three sisters, one half-brother and one half-sister.
