John Sills Alston, 89, of Kosciusko, a retired machine shop supervisor for Superior Coach, died May 17, 2011 at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital.
Visitation is Wednesday, May 18, 5-8 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held May 19 at 10 a.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Parkway Cemetery.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was also a Mason and Knights Templar.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Jewel Alston of Kosciusko; son, John Hayward Alston of Sallis; daughters, Donna Zagst of Pittsburg, PA and Vicki Ray of Kosciusko; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Hayward and Mora Etoi Sanders Alston; three brothers and two sisters.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
