She was born December 24, 1922 in Traders Point, Indiana the daughter of the late Charles and Edna (Jones) DeLong. She was united in marriage July (sic June) 12, 1942 to Leroy Hardin. He preceded her in death in 1993. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Grace Hardin Lowes in 2003.
She is survived by two daughters, Ida Pike and husband Rob, North Port, FL; and Elmora "Mo" Rogers and husband Gary, Fordland, MO; a son, Leroy "Pete" Hardin and wife Marcia, Nokomis, FL; eight grandsons and twelve great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainsfield, Indiana.
Cremation is under the direction of J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home, Rogersville, MO. Online condolences may be made at www.jdleeandsons.com.
