Marjorie was the third of four children born to Carl Crum and Georgia (Thompson) Bennett. Her older siblings were Cecil Janette Bennett Willard and Marian Louise Bennett Myer. Her younger brother was Robert Thompson Bennett.

Her grandparents were George Henry and Jennie Frances (Crum) Bennett and Robert and Ida (Newland) Thompson. Her great grandparents were John and Rachel (Shaw) Bennett and David Steele and Mary (Zook) Crum. Her paternal gg grandparents were James and Deborah (Goff) Bennett and Aaron and Sarah (Whitehead) Shaw.

FAIRBURY - The graveside service for Marjorie L. Myer, 79, of Sheboygan, WI, and formerly of Fairbury, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery, near Fairbury, with the Rev. Mark Jayberg officiating.
There will be no visitation. The Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, is in charge of arrangements.
She died Wednesday, December 25, 1996, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
She was born October 8, 1917, in Belle Prairie Township, a daughter of Carl C. and Georgia (Thompson) Bennett. She married Frank M. Myer on January 8, 1938 in Fairbury. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Allen Loyd Meyer, Sheboygan, Wi, David Frank Myer, Conyers, GA, and Michael Gene Myer, Iowa City, IA; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Mrs. Myer was a homemaker and a former member of Deltona United Methodist Church and a current member of Our Shepherd United Church of Christ in Howard's Grove, WI.
The family suggests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association.
