FROSTBURG,MARYLAND -- Nancy Cutter, 69, of Frostburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 14, 1939, in Frostburg, Nancy was the daughter of the late Walter Crowe and Nannie Nae (Arnold) Crowe. Nancy was also preceded in death by her her husband, Roy L. Cutter in 1995; three sisters, Linda Kay Gray, Rosemary Garlitz and Faith Korns; and one brother, Larry Crowe. Mrs. Cutter was retired from the Route 40 School, where she worked in the cafeteria. Nancy was a member of Saint Michael Church, Frostburg.
She is survived by six children, Janice Friend and husband Thomas, Shirley Cutter, Roy Cutter Jr., Brenda Friend and husband Harry, Donna Deal and husband David and Russell Cutter; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer Judy and husband Jansen, Thomas Friend and wife Stefanee, Scott Cutter, Christopher Cutter and fiancee Anika, Patrick Cutter, Harry Friend, Stephen Friend and wife Stephanie, Derek Cutter, Dustin Rouch and Spring Rouch; and eight great-grandchildren, Zachary Judy, Benjamin Judy, Ally Friend, Thomas Friend, Marcus Cutter, Isabella Friend, Estella Friend and Stephen Friend. Nancy is also survived by one sister, Betty Fazenbaker; three brothers, Walter "Son-ny" Crowe, Wayne Crowe and Jimmy Crowe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Father James W. Hannon officiating.
Interment will be in the McKenzie Cemetery, Beall School Road. Pallbearers will be Tommy Friend, Stephen Friend, Derek Cutter, Dustin Rouch, Thomas Friend, Harry Friend, David Deal and Roy Cutter Jr.
