William R. Melton "Bill", Wheatfield, IN, age 53, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2005. Bill served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his mother, Lucille Melton of Hawesville, KY; life partner, Diana Samocki of Wheatfield; and six brothers: Duane (Jan), Pat (Nancy), Tom (Jenny), Chris (Carrie), Joe (Sue), Mickey (Stacy) Melton; four sisters: Jay Borns, Karen (Jeff) Smith, Annette (Ron) Walters, Gail (Pat) Lanham; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William C. Melton. Memorial services are Saturday, June 25, 2005, 2 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage. Memorial visitation will begin after the service and continue to 4 p.m
