Lula was the daughter of Lewis & Barbara Howard Kuhn. She married James Kellar in 1909. They had one son, Kermit.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Lancaster for Mrs. Lula Kellar, 66, widow of James O'Dell Kellar, resident of 557 E. 6th Ave., Lancaster, who died Monday in Doctors Hospital, Columbus. She underwent surgery last Thursday.

Her death followed that of her husband by less than five months. Mrs. Kellar, formerly Lula Kuhn, a former resident of Hebron, had been active in YWCA and club work at Lancaster. She had served two terms as member of the ward of directors of the YWCA and in 1944 was assistant president.

A member of the First Methodist Church of Lancaster, she was also a member of Lancaster Literary Club; Auxiliary to United Spanish War Veteran and a charter member of the Home Front.

A son, Kermit B. Kellar of Lancaster and granddaughter, survive; also three sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Golda Foster of Newark, Mr. O. P. McCarty of Columbus, Mrs. E. H. Yontz of Dennison, Charles Kuhn of Newark and Joseph Kuhn of Miami, Fla. Her husband died May 14.

Rev. George W. Ward will officiate at the service and burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster.
