Clayne C. Beck II, 17, of Middleton, died Saturday, January 11, 1992, at his home following a courageous battle with brain cancer. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 1992, at the Jewett Auditorium, located on the College of Idaho Campus. The college is requesting that friends attending the services park their cars in the parking area behind the Activities Center, located at the comer of Indiana and Oak Streets and not in the parking area near the auditorium. Interment will follow at the Middleton Cemetery, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Clayne was born June 5, 1974, at Caldwell. He lived his 17 years on his family's dairy in Middleton. He enjoyed the wide open space to ride horses and motorcycles. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Caldwell. He attended Middleton Schools for 12 years and was a member of the MHS Class of 1992. He loved basketball and other sports and participated until he was no longer able.
Clayne was a counselor for Camp Rainbow Gold, a camp for children with cancer. He loved the mountains and enjoyed hiking, camping and fishing. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends that he left behind.
Clayne is survived by his parents, Clayne and Irene Beck of Middleton; a brother, Raymond A. Beck of Middleton; a sister and brother-in-law, Candy and Greg Wilcox of Middleton; his grandparents, Raymond and Hazel Beck of Middleton, Roger and Felicha Banville of Caldwell, Alex and Joan Silva of Nampa; his great-grandparents. Gabriela Silva of Honolulu, Hawaii, Chago DiCristina, Bayamon, Puerto Rico; his aunts and uncles, Quentien and Donna Markwell of Notus, Gerald and Carol Beck of Middleton; Tom and Ilene Dobbin of Marsing, James and Diana Silva of Zanesville, Ohio; and numerous cousins and family.
