Olen Logsdon was born November 15, 1920 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the son of Eugene and Florence (Rush) Logsdon. Olen died Friday, September 2, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was 90 years of age.
Olen was a 1938 graduate of Catoosa, Oklahoma High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having been a recipient of the Purple Heart Medal. He married the former Miss Millie Phillips on June 17, 1955 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He was Shop Superintendent at Braden Winch and retired from Thomas and Betts Manufacturing in 1985. He lived his entire lifetime in the Catoosa/Broken Arrow area. He loved antique cars, especially model T's, Southern Gospel Music and Fox Terrier Dogs. He was a storyteller and enjoyed telling tales of the Good Ole Days. He was a member of The Assembly. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 2227 E. Skelly Dr., Tulsa, OK 74105.
