Ulyses E. Brown, 78, died of pneumonia at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in his residence, 614 Tremont-av. He had been ill for two weeks.

He was born in Henry-co and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren.

He is survived by his widow, Alice; two sons, Virgil of Route 5 and Glen of 733 Holly-st; one daughter, Mrs. Leroy Clover of Westminster; three brothers, Albert and Leroy of Alma, Mich., and Peet of Findlay; two sisters, Mrs. T. K. Lenard of Findlay and Mrs. Phillip Heckler of Weston; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Church of the Brethren with Rev. Charles Zunkel, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.

The body will be removed from the Davis-Miller and Son funeral home to the residence Friday morning where it will remain until time of the final rites.
