Mrs. Margaret Gessert, 89, of 1133 Broadway Ave., died Friday afternoon at St. Nicholas Hospital. Born in the town of Schleswig, Manitowoc County, on April 15, 1871, the daughter of Conrad and Mathilda Ramminger, she attended parochial school in Kiel.
On April 15, 1895, she was married to Peter Gessert at Kiel. The couple made their home in Plymouth until 1926 when they moved to Sheboygan. Mr. Gessert passed away April 17, 1950.
Survivors are a son Milton of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Chester Provost and Mrs. Lucille Mullane of this city and Mrs. Gilbert Laack of Elkhart Lake; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and a brother, John Ramminger of Fond du Lac. A daughter also preceded her in death.
Funeral services have been tentatively set for Wednesday at the Ramm Funeral Home, to be followed with a funeral Mass at St. Peter Claver Church with the Rev. Robert M. Hoeller as celebrant. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
