Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Reformed Church, Alton. The Rev. Clarence Greving will officiate. Burial will be in Nassau Township Cemetery near Alton under the direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home of Orange City.
Mrs. Leenhouts, the former Nellie Aberson, was born November 10, 1885, in the Netherlands. She was married to John Vrieze on February 12, 1914. He died April 22, 1927. She was married to Mr. Leenhouts on November 14, 1934. He died May 2, 1946.
Mrs. Leenhouts lived in Alton most of her married life. She was a member of the First Reformed Church in Alton. She had lived with her daughter in Des Moines for 11 years, returning to Alton last May.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Betty Blalock of Harvey, La., and Mrs. Fred (JoAnn) Kessler of Des Moines; a son, John Vrieze of Alton; two brothers, Joe and Anton, both of Alton; seven grandchildrena dn three great-grandchildren.
