Grace Margaret Perkins May, age 82, of Mullin, Texas, died Wednesday, March 11, 1998 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center, Brownwood, Texas.
The funeral was Saturday, March 14, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel in Goldthwaite with Rodney Thomas, pastor of the Mullin First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was in the Oakview Cemetery, Mullin, Mills County, Texas.
Mrs. May was born October 15, 1915 at Mullin, Texas, the daughter of John and Dffie Oxley Perkins. She married James D. May on August 12, 1939 at Levelland, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. May has lived at Mullin since
moving from Park Forest, Illinois in 1973. She was a Baptist. She was a RN and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her two brothers
and ten sisters.
Survivors are her husband, James D. May of Mullin; two daughters and son-in-laws, Margaret and Ray Logan of Buffalo, New York and Sarah Bess and Jeffery Roseman of Birmingham, Alabama; one son and daughter-
in-law, James Leslie and Sue Wolfe May of Engsburg Falls, Virginia; and four grandsons, Douglas Malcolm Logan of Hoboken, New Jersey, Jesse Thouston Roseman of San Francisco, California, Scot Andrew Logan of Buffalo, New Youk and Wesley Elliott Roseman of Olympia, Washington.
Serving as pallbearers were Huck Alldredge, Billy Hobbs, Jesse Thouston Roseman, Scot Andrew Logan, Douglas Malcolm Logan, and
Roger Sanders.
