Helen A. Henderson, 105, of 10 Leonard St., a retired educator, died Friday in Franklin Medical Center.

Born in Rose, N.Y., she moved to Cambridge as a teenager and was a 1906 graduate of Cambridge High School. She later taught grammar school in Palmer for four years.

She moved to Greenfield in 1914, where she was principal at the Four Corners Grade School. She retired in 1947.

She was a member of Second Congregational Church, and its Yancy Club.

She leaves a sister, Florence Smith of Wolcott, N.Y.; two nephews and a niece.

Graveside services will be conducted in the Greenfield River Cemetery at a date and time to be announced. There are no calling hours. Walker Funeral Home is in charge.
