Pamela Lee Sawyer passed away after a brief battle with cancer. She was 64.

Born and raised in Fresno, Ca. to Wash Lee and Neva
McCombs Lee, Pamela graduated from Roosevelt High School and Fresno State University where she earned a BA in history and a teaching credential.

Pamela taught K-12 special education for both Sanger and Fresno Unified School Districts for 35 years. She retired in 2005, and cherished living at the Central California coast.

She enjoyed playing the piano, socializing and traveling with friends, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Pamela is survived by her two brothers, Gary D. Lee, and Larry M. Lee; and his wife Dawn; her sons, Geoffrey L. Wood and his wife Cindy and their son, Trenton, Bryan L. Wood and Megan Arno and their daughter, Taylor Wood, and Brandon L. Wood and his wife Katy and their sons, Ethan and Adam; nephews, Jason B. Lee; Aaron B. Lee and Whitney Moore and their daughter Taylor, and Justin Lee; cousins and other relatives in Muldrow, Ok. also survive her.

A Celebration of Life luncheon is planned at 1707 W. Beverly Drive, Visalia, on Saturday, September 10, 2011, commencing at 1:00 p.m. Casual attire. For information and RSVP, please call (559) 627-2080.
