Obituary
Eusebius Myers, 89, of RR 2, New Hamburg, died Sunday at Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital following a short illness. Born in Wilmot Township, he was a lifelong resident of the district. He was a member of Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church, New Hamburg, and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Myers. He was married to the former Susan Schweitzer in 1897. She predeceased him in 1947. Surviving are three sons, Elmer of Thedford, Floyd of RR 2, New Hamburg and Clarence of RR 1, New Hamburg; one brother, Edward of Stratford; three sisters, Mrs. Tillie Hunsberger of Spencer, N.Y.; Mrs. Addison (Barbara) Geiger of RR 4, Kitchener and Mrs. William (Clara) Schmidt of Kitchener, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter in infancy. The body is at the Futher-Omand Funeral Home until Wednesday noon when removal will be made to Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church for the funeral at 2 p.m. Rev. F. Paul Erb will officiate. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg
