Mrs. Dorothy McGlothin Nunn, 90, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 1721 Salem Bywy Rd. in Ackerman, MS. Visitation was held Thursday, September 1, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home. Funeral services were Friday, September 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Clear Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Rhodes and Rev. Stan Woods officiating.

Interment was at French Camp Cemetery at Choctaw County.

Mrs. Nunn was a homemaker and a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church at Choctaw County. She was a Sunday School teacher since age 16 and a long time song leader.

She is survived by three daughters, Margaret Stevens of Duchesne, Utah, Frances Blake of Ackerman, MS, and Nancy Gregory of Pala Pinto, TX; three sons, Wayne Nunn, and Donald Nunn both of Ackerman, MS, and Ralph Nunn of Poplar Bluff, MO; 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Pallbearers were Rhett Nunn, Tommy, Justin and Nicholas Blake, Zachary Reed, and Wade McGlothin. Honorary pallbearers were Will Blake, Butch Johns, and Michael Stevenson.

Oliver Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
