JOSEPH W. KEEFE JR.
BRADENTON, Fla. - Joseph W. Keefe Jr., 78, of Bradenton, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 1997, at home.

Born in Jenningston, W.Va., Mr. Keefe moved to Bradenton in 1980. He retired from the Pittsburgh Plate Glass, Cumberland, Md., after 23 years of service. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He was a member of the American Legion Post 13, Cumberland. He was a US Army veteran of World War II, serving in the 984th Air Engineer Squadron and 566th Air Service.

He was survived by his second wife Kathy; two daughters, Jane and Ursula; two step daughters, Bonnie Jean and Kathy Lynn; two sons, Joseph W. and Thomas P.; two sisters, Ruth Grimm and Gleaves Knecht; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service at the Grantsville Cemetery on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. with the American Legion Post 13 doing an honor guard service.
